SM 52/12
It was manufactured from 1985 to 1988 by ZVT B.Bystrica. The computer was inspired by or was successor to VAX-11/780 a SM 50/50. Hardware is based on Am2900.Operating systems running on the computer: VOS,DEMOS.
Computer of Smep-II series.
Like Dec Vax, the computer used virtual memory with a capacity of up to 4 gigabytes and the semiconductor memory had a capacity of 2-4MB. The system included an operator's workplace composed of a SM 50/50 computer, which was incl. Floppy unit 8 "in the left stand.
A more powerful exterior device, such as 2 × 100 megabyte (EC 5067), SM 5311 magnetopásk units (MPP 45) and SM 6313/p line printer, have been connected to the minicup.
In 1989, the State Task of JZPV 1 (uniform basic program equipment 1) was aimed at adapting the UNIX system to SMEP (SM 52/11 M1, SM 52/12 and PP-06).
