SM 52/11
It was manufactured from 1983 to 1988 by ZVT Námestovo. The computer was inspired by or was successor to PDP 11/50. Hardware is based on Am2900.Operating systems running on the computer: DIAMS,TMOS-2.1,DEMOS.
SMEP-II series computer, but still programmatically compatible with the older SMEP-I series.
The architecture has been significantly redesigned, resulting in higher processing speed and better reliability. One of the key innovations was the introduction of a two-kilobyte buffer memory (cache) between the operating memory and the processor. This memory had an access time approximately ten times shorter than RAM, allowing for faster calculations while maintaining similar RAM technology to the SM 4-20. In addition, the RAM was equipped with circuits for double error detection and single error correction. Addressing of the UNIBUS bus was extended from 16 to 18 bits. Thanks to this, it was possible to directly address 256 KiB of operating memory.
