Multiwire
Multiwire is a technology of wire printed circuits, which was created in cooperation with VUMS Prague and Aritma Prague. It was not an own invention, only a copied Western technology, patented already in the late 70s of the 20th century by the Kollmorgen company (US patent US4175816A).
Vladimír Gerlich wrote in his essay Thirty years at VÚMS for the VÚMS Almanac for MultiWire:
"At VÚMS, the technology of wire printed circuit boards (Multiwire) and boards with non-soldering assembly was developed. Assembly without the use of soldering used a so-called cutting contact for connection. Pins with a head with notches (technically called bells according to Tomáš Matoušek) were pressed into the plated holes of the base board. and the copper connecting wires were squeezed into the notches.
